Award criteria and procedure

The submitted photographs will be judged according to several criteria.

Your photos should:

• Embody a clear idea of sustainable tourism
• Clearly reveal the message
• Have an aesthetic appeal
• Capture viewers’ attention and interest
• Spark curiosity
• Consider the motif from an unusual angle
• Depict less known European destinations

The official award ceremony and the exhibition of the 25 best photos of the competition will be held hosted in the premises of the European Parliament in Brussels in December 2009. The three winners will be awarded with prizes.
